Rose M. (Halvorsen) Stevenson 102 of Worcester and So. Yarmouth died Friday, Oct. 8, in the Millbury Healthcare Center.
Her husband Jonathan Stevenson died in 1973. She leaves a son, Jonathan F. Stevenson husband of Joan M. Stevenson of Auburn; two daughters, Lois J. Crickard wife of Dr. George E. Crickard Jr. of Quincy, IL, and Earline S. DeSalvo wife of Paul E. DeSalvo of Worcester; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Ingvald and Marie (Jansen) Halvorsen.
Mrs. Stevenson was a member of West Yarmouth Congregational Church and sang in the choir and was a member of the Weyars Women’s Group of the church. She also volunteered at the Brewster Nursing Home. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, baking and making chocolates.
A Funeral will be held Monday, Oct. 11, at 10 a.m. in Greendale Peoples Church, 25 Francis St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
