New Bedford Mary Rose (Gauthier) Szwaja, 89, of New Bedford, died Thursday October 7, 2004, In New Bedford. She was the wife of the late Walter Szwaja. She was the mother of Peter Szwaja of Swansea, Ma., Karen A. de Lacey of New Bedford and Paula M. Bridon New Bedford, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, She also is survived by Several Nieces and Nephews.
Mrs. Szwaja was born in New Bedford and lived in ther most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Ann (Barrow) and Onesime Gauthier.
A memorial mass will be celebrated Tuesday at Our Lady of Quadalupe at St. James Church at 11 :00 A.M. Family and Friends are Invited.
