Nathaniel Henry Huffman, 74, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, October 8, 2004 at Kindred Hospital in Atlanta.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, October 11, 2004, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with Rev. Bobby Stone officiating. Interment will take place on Wednesday October 13, 2004 in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Visitation will be held Sunday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00.
Mr. Huffman was born July 17, 1930, in Charleston, West Virginia to the late E.P. and Clella Tinsley Huffman. He moved to Fitzgerald in 1992 from Tampa, Florida. Mr. Huffman was a former employee of GAF Roofing in Florida and West Virginia Steel. After retirement he worked as a Security Guard at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald. Mr. Huffman served in the United States Army during the Korean War era.
Mr. Huffman is survived by his children: Samuel R. Huffman, Fitzgerald, Candy Barlow, Daytona Beach, FL, Tony Huffman, Plant City, FL, Jerry Huffman and Vicky McCall, both of Tampa, FL; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; four brothers: Carl Huffman, California, Walter and Kenneth Huffman, both of Charleston, West Virginia and Paul Huffman, Louisville, KY; two sisters: Barbara Ann Heston, Louisville, KY and Norman Jean Milan, Gallatin, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Jean Breedon Huffman.
