Manchester– Emile J. “Joe” Courchesne, 55, died December 29, 2013 at Catholic Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Manchester on June 24, 1958 the son of Emile J. Courchesne and Laurette (Kay) Courchesne Boulanger.
He had been a lifelong resident of Manchester.
He had previously been a automotive service manager for Sears and most recently a mechanical engineer for Eastern Bearings. He held membership at both the Rimmon Club and Alpine Club. He also served as a member of the NH/VT State Court as a State Court Trustee for the Catholic Order of Foresters.
Family members include three children, Jessica R. Courchesne of West Lebanon, ME., Joseph R. Courchesne of Berlin, Jillian Y. Courchesne of Manchester, one granddaughter, Casey Courchesne of Manchester, and one twin sister, Jacqueline M. Curtis and her husband, Daniel of Manchester.
A committal service will take place on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 10 AM in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joe’s name to the Manchester Boys & Girls Club, 555 Union St. Manchester NH 03104.
