Timothy L. Phillips, 63, passed away on Dec. 29, 2013, at Edgewater Woods, Anderson, after a courageous struggle with cancer. He was born in Anderson on March 14, 1950, to Harold L. and Ethel L. Phillips. He was a graduate of Anderson High School. Tim worked for many years for Decker's Inc. as a salesman.
He is survived by his sons, Peter (wife Barbara), of Muncie; Andrew, of Anderson; Granddaughter Madison, of Anderson; and beloved companion, Mary Phillips of Summitville. Also surviving are his sisters: Harolyn (Donald) Burns of Waynesville, OH; Jean (Thomas) Harbron of Anderson; Wanda (Daryl) Yoder of Lynchburg, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at First Friends Church, 2233 S Central Way, Anderson, on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014 at noon with Rev. David W. Steinke officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to First Friends Church.
