Westport – Mary (Rusin) Lennon, of Westport died at home, Thursday, October 7, 2004. She was the widow of Walter E. Lennon.
She was born in Westport, daughter of the late Michael and Catherine (Cyrona) Rusin, and had resided in town for most of her life. She was a communicant of St. George Church, Westport. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a milliner at the former Wiederman Hat of Fall River.
Survivors include a son: Walter Lennon of Westport; a daughter: Sharon Ellis of Westport; 2 brothers: Michael Rusin of Westport and Joseph Rusin of Westport; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Joan Nally and the sister of the late Stanley Rusin, Walter Rusin, Sophie Michaud and Annie Levesque.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 9, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at St. George Church, Westport.
Calling hours are omitted.
Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Arrangements are under the direction of Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport.
