Denise M. Martone, 83, of Port Orange FL, previously had spent the majority of her life in the Merrimack Valley area, passed away Tuesday December 24th at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Montreal Canada daughter of the late Fabien and Corrine (Carignan) Legris. Denise worked at Western Electric for many years and enjoyed dominos, cards, making slippers for her kids, but most of all spending time with her family.
Denise is predeceased by her husband Louis J. and leaves behind a wonderful legacy of love in her children; Jo-Ann D’Agostino and her husband Bruce, Leila Martone and her partner Karin Rhodes, Tina Douglas and her husband Keith, Rita Brown and her partner Matthew Walker, Lisa Gomez and her husband Nelson, Denise Diaz and her fiancé Rich Day, Louis Martone and his wife Kerri, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, she is also predeceased by a daughter Joanna Mayes, a sister Jackie Vallario, and a brother John Legris.
There will be no calling hours and in lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Denise’s honor may be made to a charity of ones choice. “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for the Lord is with me” Psalm 23:4.
