Duncan McLean, age 83, of Morrow, GA passed away on Monday, December 23, 2013 at his residence in Sunset Beach, NC following an extended illness. Mr. McLean was born on July 15, 1930, in Douglas, GA to the late C.H. McLean, SR. and Nina Mae Bush McLean.
Mr. McLean was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and enjoyed fox hunting, raising dogs, and gardening.
Survivors include: his wife, Frances S. McLean of Morrow, GA; daughter, Carolyn Tate of MS, stepdaughters, Linda Barron of GA and Sharon Stewart of AL, stepson, Norman T. Crouch of GA, three grandchilldren, Suzanne Tate, Sandy Johnson and Cameron Tate all of MS, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceeded in death by his parents, brother, C. H. McLean, Jr., four sisters, Lucrieta Young, Margaret Simmons, Mary Lou Harper, Frances Farabow and stepdaughter, Joan Smith.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Methodist Church of Broxton, GA with Rev. Beverly King. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be D.J. Harper, Tommy Farabow, Gerald Simmons, Charles Simmons, Eddie Goodman aand George Boyd. Memorials may be made to a Veterans group of choice. Sims Funerall Home Will be in charge of arrangements.
