Brenda Gail Parsons, 64, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, December 26, 2013, at Phoebe Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with the Rev. Earlie Holt, the Rev. Edsel Young and the Rev. Jack Perrin officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Irwin County. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 29, 2013, from 4 to 6 PM at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Parsons was born September 4, 1949, in Miami, Florida, to Margaret Baldwin Hardenbrook of Palm Bay, Florida and the late Albert Hardenbrook. She has lived in the community since 1987 and was very active in the Republican Party where she served as campaign manager for Thurman Ellis. Mrs. Parsons also was a former manager at Winn Dixie in the Deli for many years. She was a member of Eastside Holiness Baptist Church and attended Macedonia Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband: Jerry Parsons of Fitzgerald; daughter: Melissa Parsons of Bartow, Florida; son: Randall Eugene Little and wife: Marissa of Fitzgerald; daughter: Sherry P. Evans and husband: Allen of Fitzgerald; and a son: Troy W. Parsons and wife: Crystal of Chula; grandchildren: Corey Evans, Brittanie` Evans, Cora Little, Kaitlyn Little, Randy Little, Jr., Josh Winter, Brady Winter, Perrin Winter and Luke Wayne Parsons; sister: Linda Spencer and husband: Lee of Chandler, Indiana; and sister: Bonie Aladro and husband: Jeorge of Palm Bay, Florida.
