Gina G. (Fratangelo) Boutier, 55, of Westport passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013 with her family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Robert H. Boutier.
Born in New York, NY, daughter of Geraldine J. (Baldwin) Fratangelo of New Bedford and the late John T. Fratangelo, she had lived in Pennsylvania prior to moving to Westport in 1997. She was a graduate of Manhattan College, where she earned a BS in Marketing. A passionate teacher, Gina was a science teacher at the Upper Cape Regional Technical School and she also taught in the Fall River and New Bedford school systems. She was a Communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, Westport. Mrs. Boutier had been a Girl Scout leader and she also loved to cook.
Including her husband and mother she is survived by her daughter: Juliana M. Boutier of Westport.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, December 30, 2013 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Sunday 4 – 7 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
