NATICK: Patricia F. (Molloy) Chisholm, age 84, a resident of Natick for the past 40 years, died peacefully on Tuesday morning, December 24, 2013, at the Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born and raised in Waltham, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Jordan) Molloy. Patricia was graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 1946 and continued her education at Burdett Business School. Shortly thereafter she married and settled in Belmont where she made a home for her growing family.
Patricia was employed with the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston from 1955 until the Chisholm Family moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, in 1961. While in Florida she worked as the secretary to the owner of a local store, and upon returning to Massachusetts in 1972, joined the clerical staff of New England Telephone. Patricia retired after 26 years, but continued working part time at such venues as Norembega Point, TJX, and the Comm. of MA Department of Revenue. She most enjoyed time spent with her family and trips to Hampton Beach, New York City and Foxwoods. Quiet times she spent reading, working word search puzzles, or watching a good movie.
She is survived by her children, Alice L. Geiger of Belle Glade, FL, Charles E. Chisholm of Natick, J. Christopher Chisholm and partner Sandy Lopes of Palm Beach, FL, Amy M. Hughes and husband Gregory of Hillsboro, NC, and Craig R. Chisholm and wife Margaret of Scituate; four grandchildren, Erika Geiger, Hannah Hughes, Charles David Chisholm, and Matthew Hughes; and three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jacqueline, and Jocelyn.
Her funeral will be from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, Natick, Monday Dec. 30th at 8:00a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Linus Church, 119 Hartford Street, Natick, at 9:00a.m. Burial will be private.
Visiting hours are Sunday 2 – 5p.m.
