Mary Jo H. Powell
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, December 24, 2013, Mrs. Mary Jo Huckaby Powell, 51, wife of Mr. Eddie Powell.
Mrs. Powell was a native of Augusta, GA where she worked as a bookkeeper for Southern Diesel. She loved horses and her baby was Cheyenne.
Family members in addition to her husband include sons: Joel Powell and Trey Powell both of Augusta; daughter: Ashlyn Powell of Augusta; grandchildren: Alexis Powell, Aubrie Powell and Paris Powell; bothers: Steve Huckaby and Dennis Huckaby; sisters: Paula Stoddard and Erica Willingham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday, December 27, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. Larry Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the COPD Foundation 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd, Miami, FL 33134.
