Orina E. Crete, 93, of 22 Greenwood Dr., Manchester CT. and a former Laconia resident died October 26, 2001 in the Manchester Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born In Albion RI on April 15, 1908, the daughter of Napoleon and Alice (Perrier) Boudreau.
She has resided with her daughter in Manchester for the past 17 years. She had previously lived in Laconia, NH from 1950 until 1984. Mrs. Crete was employed by Belknap Industries. She has been a communicant of St. Bartholomew Church in Manchester.
She was the widow of Joseph H. Crete, who died in March 1969.
Family members include two daughters, Lucille Dupre of Manchester CT and Jeannette Stockwell of Gilmanton NH; two sons, Paul Crete of Bethel VT and Robert D. Crete of Natick MA; 9 grandchildren, Steven Mitchell, Christine Chambers, Gary Walter, David Boudreau, Glenn Walter, Tricia Boudreau, Danielle Martin, Nicole Crete and Jason Crete; 7 great grandchildren; and a sister, Gertrude Boudreau of Woonsocket RI; several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Pauline Walters in 1986. She was also pre-deceased by her brothers, Elmer and Aldor Boudreau and sisters, Irene Nault, Lydia Robin, Laura Costigan, Lillian Packer and Josephine Goudreau.
Calling hours will be in the Simoneau & Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St., Laconia on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph Parish, Main St., Belmont at 11 AM. Private burial will be at a later time in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Laconia.
