Johnny Anthony Martinez, 56, went home to be with his beloved parents Sally and Joe Martinez, brother Larry, and granddaughter Makayla on December 20, 2013 in Camarillo, California after a brief illness. He was a resident of Ventura, California for most of his life, owning J.M. Handyman Service and Uncle Johnny’s BBQ & Catering.
Born September 22, 1957 in Wasco, California, Johnny is survived by his children Bianca, Johnny Jr. and Marty, grandchildren, siblings Andrew, Joe Jr., Jessie, Patsy, MaryAnn, Melissa, and numerous nieces and nephews. Johnny’s favorite past time was RV camping at the beach with family and friends and barbequing.
Family and Friends are invited to visiting hours Friday December 27, 2013 from 4 to 8pm in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME 757 E. Main Street Ventura, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30pm. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 11AM December 28, 2013 in Our Lady of the Assumption Church Telegraph Road Ventura. Interment will be private.
