Vivian I. (Boulanger) Manghan, 84 of New Bedford died December 20, 2013 at Brandon Woods after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late Arnold Manghan.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Leonidas and Edna (Loiselle) Boulanger, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Mrs. Manghan was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church.
She was formerly employed as a paraprofessional in the New Bedford School System for many years until her retirement.
Mrs. Manghan was a member of the Catholic Womens Club and Teamsters and Friends. She enjoyed reading, travel, knitting, crafts and playing cards with friends.
She was a graduate of New Bedford High School, class of 1947.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Carol Watson and her husband Al and Joanne Rodrigues and her husband Mark, all of New Bedford; a sister, Annette Forgue of New Bedford; 3 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was the sister of the late Eleanor Belanger and Armand Belanger and the grandmother of the late Michelle Garnett.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 4 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford. Visiting hours Monday, December 23rd from 4-6 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Brandon Woods Activity Fund, 397 County St. New Bedford, MA 02740.
