Eleanor “Honey” Burgess, 83, a long time resident of Lakeport NH died October 4, 2004.
Honey was born in Manchester on March 14, 1921. She was the daughter of May (Fournier) Kuhn and Rudolph Kuhn.
In her later years, Honey was involved with and supported many local charities including the Salvation Army, St. Vincent DePaul Society, and the Family Crisis Center. She was the founder of the 50 Plus Club of Laconia.
Family members include one son, Terry Threlfall of Belmont NH; two daughters, Marjorie Cornwell of Atlanta GA and Patti Schofield of Gilmanton NH; six grandchildren, Samantha, Terry II, Jessica, Aja, Indja and Tammy; 8 great grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Kuhn of Groton CT and Richard Kuhn of Goffstown NH. Honey was pre-deceased by a brother, Kenneth Kuhn and a sister, Mary Casselberry.
There are no calling hours or services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Honey’s memory to the American Heart Association, New England affiliate, 20 Speen St., Framingham MA 01701-4688.
