Patricia M. (Hennessey) Cardoso, resident of Salem, New Hampshire, formerly of Lawrence and beloved wife of the late Alfred J. Cardoso, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, December 18, 2013. She was 80 years old.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on May 5, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Sutcliffe) Hennessey. Mrs. Cardoso was a graduate of Lawrence High School and also of McIntosh Secretarial School in Lawrence. She worked as a Medical Transcriptionist and retired from New England Neurological, after more than 20 years of service. In her spare time, Pat enjoyed visiting the North Shore Music Theatre, watching NASCAR and was a lifelong Red Sox fan. She also crocheted more than 1,000 baby blankets and donated them to needy people in the Dominican Republic.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Donna M. and her husband Joseph Felzani of Revere, Brenda A. and her husband Kenneth P. Lepere of Scottsdale, Arizona, Stephen J. Cardoso of Dracut and Jeffrey M. and his wife Nicole M. Cardoso of Salem, New Hampshire, grandchildren; Kathryn, Lauren, Courtney, Kayla and James, great-grandchildren; Chloe and Keagan and several nieces and nephews. She was also the loving mother of the late Paul J. Cardoso and James A. Cardoso and sister of the late Elinor Martin.
