Obituary

Red Oak, TX—Lois A. (Frey) Shepeluk, 80, formerly of Worcester, died Sunday, October 3, 2004, in Texas. Her husband of 43 years, George Shepeluk, died in 1990. She leaves 2 sons, Jon M. and his wife Karrie Shepeluk of Red Oak, TX, with whom she lived, and Daniel L. Shepeluk of Tampa, FL; 2 daughters, Sharyn, widow of Richard S. Dalzell, of Worcester and Tonya of Sharon, NH, wife of William E. Donaldson, 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters, Mildred Frizell, Alyce Phillipps, Violet Simon, Esther Grossi, and Muriel Shepeluk; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Timothy in 1973, 4 sisters, and 3 brothers.

She was born in Fargo, ND, daughter of Richard and Louise (Torkilson) Frey and resided in Worcester for many years. She was a graduate of North Central Bible Institute, and was an insurance administrator for State Mutual Life Assurance as well as a Pastor’s Wife. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, its 59ers Senior Club, hospitality and funeral committees, Women’s Ministry and was a Sunday school teacher. She was devoted to her family and her church and friends and loved entertaining them.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 8, in the First Assembly of God Church, 30 Tyler Prentice Road. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the First Assembly Christian Academy, 30 Tyler Prentice Rd., Worcester, MA 01605.
