Beatrice M. Mailloux, 87, of Raymond, NH formerly of Derry, NH passed Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood, following a period of declining health. She was born May 13, 1926 in Lawrence, MA and was a daughter of the late Alfred and Alice (Arbour) Mailloux. She was raised in Lawrence and had resided in Derry for 35 years, prior to relocating to Raymond five years ago. Mrs. Mailloux was a homemaker and raised eight children. She was a former communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry, and will forever be remembered for her devotion to her family.
Members of the family include five sons, Alfred, Raymond, William, Paul and Richard Mailloux, two daughters, Alice Plante and Rosemarie Perry, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a great, great grandchild, Paisley and a sister, Doris Demers, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lucien Mailloux in 1990, a son Gerard, her brother, William Mailloux and three sisters, Irene Couture, Yvonne Mailloux and Rita Mailloux.
Calling hours were held Friday, December 20, 2013 from 9 to 11 am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St. Derry, with a funeral service that followed at 11:00am in the funeral home. The burial followed in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Rd., Londonderry.
