Obituary

WORCESTER-Tot Van Bui, 75, of 22 Mann Street died, Friday, October 1st in St. Vincent Hospital after a long illness. He leaves his wife Chieu Thi Huynh, 3 sons, Fr. Tam Minh Bui administrator of Our Lady of Vilna Church and Director of the Vietnamese Catholic Community in Worcester, Minh Van Bui and Kiet Tuan Bui, 3 daughters, Mong Trinh Bui, Mong Thu Bui and Mong Xuan Bui all of Worcester and 5 grandchildren.

He was born in An Dinh, Mo Cay, Ben Tre, Vietnam the son of Bui Van Hien and Tran Thi Sai and came to Worcester in 1983. Mr. Bui was an automotive and marine mechanic in Vietnam. While in Worcester, Mr. Bui spent much of his time dedicated to helping the Vietnamese Catholic Community and had served on the Parish Council of St. John’s Church.

The funeral is Saturday, October 9th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Vilna Church, 151 Sterling Street. Burial will be in Vietnam. Calling hours are Friday, October 8th from 5:00 until 9:00 PM in the funeral home.
