Joan E. (Morgan) Mazara, 67, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 16th, 2013, at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. Born in Methuen, she was the daughter of the late William S. Morgan and Margaret (Lyons) (Morgan) Steele. A 1964 graduate of Tenney High School in Methuen, she was employed by the former AT& T Technologies, Inc. in North Andover as a typist for the Drafting and Engineering Department and was later employed as a Pharmacy Technician for CVS in Haverhill.
Joan is survived by her son, James Fuller, and his wife, Busara, of Hawaii; her two daughters, Sharon Hall of Florida and Laurie Sullivan of Methuen; and her sister, Patricia Morgan of Methuen. She is also survived by her long-time companion, Paul Poirier of Haverhill.
Joan was a very kind-hearted person who loved people and enjoyed traveling, often taking cruises with her sister.
She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to call on Monday, December 23rd, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack Street, No. Andover, MA. Her service will be held immediately following the calling hours at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date.
