Robert Stuckert, Jr., 71, of Fitzgerald, died Sunday, December 15, 2013, at Phoebe Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
A memorial service will be held 4 PM, Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held in Tampa, Florida with MacDonald Funeral Home.
Mr. Stuckert was born May 5, 1942, in Fresno, California to the late Robert and Dorothy Stuckert. He served his country honorably as a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a retired welder for Waste Management. Mr. Stuckert returned to Fitzgerald in June of this year having lived in Tennessee previously. He loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife: Melissa Stuckert of Fitzgerald; his children: Robert Stuckert, III, Jeffery Stuckert, Melissa Isgit, Robby Stuckert, and Michael Stuckert; two step-children: Amber Roberson and Joshua Hamby, both of Fitzgerald as well as several grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother.
