Graveside funeral services for Betty S. Boland, 67, of Sycamore, GA will be held, Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Bethel Cemetery in Turner County, GA. Ms. Boland passed away Monday at Tift Regional Medical Center.
The daughter of the late Frank and Mary Goodson, SR, she was born in Leesburg, FL and had resided in Turner County for over twenty years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed writing prayers and poems and studying her Bible. She was a member of The Pentecostal Faith.
Survivors include her son, Rick (Shannan) Boland, her grandchildren, Julie Anna Boland and Savannah Boland, her former husband, Fred Boland, JR all of Sycamore, GA. Also surviving is a sister, Barbara Cherry of Raleigh-Durham, NC.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at Perry Funeral Chapel.
