Dorothea Ann Saadi, 70, of Mystic and San Diego, California, died Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Kindred Crossing West in New London.
Dotty was born in Hartford Ct. on 8-4-1943. She was raised in Mystic Ct. and graduated from Fitch Senior High School. She was predeceased by her parents Albertus Way and Ruth Way,her husband Frederick Saadi, son Mark Saadi,2 brothers-Edward and Dale Way, and 2 sisters-Mary and June Way. She is survived by her brother Donald Way with whom she lived this past year in Hope Valley. R.I. She also has a sister Jane Way of New London Ct., her daughter in law-Denise Saadi-Hilger of CA. and 3 grandsons-Zack,Nick, and Jake all in San Diego Ca. and several relatives in Ct. She had previously been a teacher’s aid and little league volunteer.
Her family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, December 17, from 2:30 to 3:30 at Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. Her burial will take place in SanDiego where she spent most of her life.
