Henry "Hank" P. Cedio, 87, of North Stonington, passed away Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at Westerly Hospital.
He was born Dec. 10, 1926 to the late Dominic and Rose Cedio. Hank graduated from Fitch High School in 1947, and received a degree in physical education from Arnold College in 1951. He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army Constabulary Squadron. Hank retired from Pfizer Inc. after 33 years of service.
In 1951, he married his loving wife of 62 years, Phebe Cedio, and lived in North Stonington.
He was well known for his commitment to his family and friends, and as a man who was thoughtful and giving. Hank was an avid golfer for most of his life, and enjoyed attending the local high school football games.
Hank is survived by his wife, Phebe; his sons, Kevin and his wife, Daria Cedio, of Chesire, and Jack and his wife, Susan Cedio, of North Stonington; his daughters, Maureen Cedio-Mele and her husband, Angelo Mele, of Norwich, and Phebe Cedio of Montville; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his eldest son, Henry P. Cedio.
