C. Jeannette Silver (Powers) of Hyde Park and Venice, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family two days prior to her 83rd birthday on December 12, 2013. Devoted wife of Lawrence R. Silver for 59 years. She was the beloved daughter of the late Edward and Catherine Powers. Loving mother to Stephen L. of Short Hills, N.J. , Richard W. of Boston, Mark J. of Portsmouth, NH, Kathleen S. Leavitt and her husband, Don of Canton, Robert P. and his wife, Lynne of Foxboro and Cheryl A. Najjar and her husband, Jack of Stoneham. Cherished grandmother to Katie, Kendra, Whitney, Kyle, Lindsay, Michael, Christine, Kurt, Cara and R.J. Survived by her brother Ray and his wife, Chris of Wallingford, VT and predeceased by her brothers Eddie and Bobby and her sisters Isabelle, Pauline and Millie. Always in our hearts with many fond memories. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral 455 Washington St. Canton Monday 4-8 pm. Funeral Home Services Tuesday at 11 am. Interment to be held at a later date. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
