Manuel M. Souza, 68, of Summerfield, Florida passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, December 12 in Summerfield. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Auciello) Souza.
Born in Attleboro, May 29, 1945, the son of the late Manuel and Mary D. (Lombardi) Souza, Mr. Souza was raised in Barrington, Rhode Island. Mr. Souza was a 1965 graduate of Barrington High School.
Mr. Souza spent the summer months in Franklin.
He had been a computer technician for many years and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Mr. Souza was a Vietnam War Veteran having served in the Army from 1965-1967.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter Stephanie A. Souza of Summerfield and was “Papa” to Cayden M. Souza of Summerfield.
He is also survived by his sister Cynthia Almeida of Davie, Florida.
He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-laws, Savino Auciello, Theresa and Bart Shea, Maria Conant, Angela and Arthur Gregoire, Domenico Auciello and Michael and Sherry Auciello.
He is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Great-nieces and Great-nephews and Cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Monday December 16 from 2-6 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Sreet in Franklin.
There will be no graveside services.
