John F. Pierce, 84, of Worcester died December 4th in St. Vincent Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elaine A. (Remillard) Pierce; his son, John F. “Jay” Pierce and his wife, Ann of Danvers; two grandsons, Benjamin and Noah Pierce and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary C. Latham.
He was born in Worcester the son of John F. and Bertha M. (O’Connor) Pierce. Mr. Pierce had served in the United States Army during the Korean War. John had worked for Airwick of Rhode Island as a salesman until retiring in 1990. He was a member of Christ the King Parish and the Alhambra Council, Knights of Columbus.
His funeral is Saturday, December 7th with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street. Entombment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery Mausoleum.
