Augusta, GA – Mr. Michael George “Mike” Paul, 80, beloved husband of 46 years of Mrs. Elaine Nicholson Paul, passed away on December 3, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 953 Telfair Street, with Rev. Vasile Bitere officiating. Interment to follow in Westover Memorial Park.
Mr. Paul was born on November 8, 1933 in Korce, Albania to the late George and Sophia Papapavlou. He was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and was a retired business owner.
In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Paul is survived by his brother, Marko Papapavlou (Adriana) of Brooklyn, NY; his sister, Filarentti Ruco of Korce, Albania; and numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Pallbearers will be George Sam Nicholson, James Christopher Nicholson, Demitri Kritzas, George Kritzas, Bradley Jenkins, and Nick Rivers.

A trisagion service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday evening, December6, 2013 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel. The family will receive friends after the vigil until 8:00 PM.
