Milton C. Breault, 84, of New Bedford died December 3, 2013 peacefully at The Oaks Nursing Home after a period of declining health.
He was the husband of the late Beverly A. (Perry) Breault.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late John C. and Mildred (Duhaime) Breault, he was raised in Chatham and lived in Dartmouth most of his life.
Mr. Breault was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Dartmouth and served as a Eucharistic Minister. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Breault was an admired and respected teacher at St. George School in Westport and Mt. Carmel School in New Bedford until his retirement.
He was a graduate of Chatham High School.
Mr. Breault served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War as a medic attached to the U.S. Marines. He returned home and graduated from Curry College.
He enjoyed traveling, neighborhood cocktail hour and dining out with family and his special group of friends.
Survivors include 3 sons, David Breault and his wife Deborah, Paul Breault and his wife Diane and Peter Breault and his wife Rebecca, all of Dartmouth; a daughter, Jennifer Breault of Acushnet; a sister, Millicent Roos of Randolph; 5 grandchildren, John, Peter, Danielle, Christopher and Megan Breault; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Jacqueline Cotter.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Friday, December 6th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, Dartmouth at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 5th from 4-7 PM.
