Laconia----Vanessa R. Potter, 56, of 765 Union Ave. died at her home on Tuesday, November 19, 2013.
Vanessa was born November 8, 1957 in West Stewartstown, N.H., the daughter of the late Wilbur and Leona (Haynes) Gray. She grew up in Colebrook, N.H. and graduated from the Colebrook Academy, Class of 1976. She had been a resident of Ossipee before moving to Laconia.
Survivors include four grandchildren; a brother, Herbert Gadwah, and his wife, Arlene, of Chichester, N.H. and two sisters, Barbara St. Pierre and her husband, Michael, of Salem, N.H. and Wilberta Veale and her husband, Theodore, of Barrington, N.H., as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Vanessa was predeceased by her son, Gerald Lee Potter, and by a sister, Sylvia Gadwah.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
