Pelham, New Hampshire- Pearl M. (Swift) Craig, 92, a longtime Pelham NH resident, passed away November 27, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Craig was born May 24th, 1921 in Providence, Rhode Island. She received her education upon moving to the Lawrence area. She was a candy maker for more than twenty five years at Silver Sweets Candy located on Essex St. in Lawrence.
She had many interests, including dancing, and during the Holiday Season spending quality time with her grandchildren.
Pearl was the widow of Walter N. Craig and is survived by her children: Walter W. Craig and his wife Mary living in Merit Island, Florida; James Craig and his wife Carol of Duluth Georgia; Donald Craig of Manchester, New Hampshire; a sister June Chenard of Methuen, MA; grandchildren: Rachael, Stephanie, Lindsey all of Meritt Island, Florida, Evan and Jessica of Pelham, NH and Vanessa Duluth GA; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on the morning of Saturday, December 7th at 11:30AM at Saint Patrick’s Church in Pelham, NH. Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
Friends will be warmly received on Saturday morning from 9-11AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St. Methuen MA. 01844
