Violet I. Capps, 86, of Social St. died November 26, 2013 at The Holiday. She was the wife of the late Samuel R. Capps. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Leon and Irene (Trudeau) Beauregard. Violet was an assembler for the Uni-Royal Co. for thirty years, she also worked for Univis Eyewear for fifteen years.
She is survived by three daughters: Jo Ann Ferschke and Roberta Baillargeon both of Woonsocket and Diane DiRenzo of Bellingham, two sisters Anita Dufresne of Woonsocket and Aline Gould of Kalamazoo, MI, six grandchildren, Jason, Brittany, Matthew, Samantha, Corey, and Dylan and three great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Doris Faille, Gloria Capps, Claire Niadna, and Raymond Beauregard.
Funeral arrangements under the direction of the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home are private. In lieu of flowers donations to American Heart Association Founders Affilliate, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005 in her memory would be appreciated.
