Obituary

Worcester, MA - Elaine M. (Bratchell) Pajka, 68, fell asleep in Jesus on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at the Millbury Healthcare Center. She leaves behind her husband of 43 years, Frank T. Pajka; her sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Olin Rogers; brother-in-law, James Valenti; 6 nephews, Matthew Rogers and his wife Ramee, Dana Rogers and his wife Lisa, Timothy Rogers, Albert Panarelli, John Pajka, and Steve Pajka; and a niece, Beverly Panarelli.

Elaine was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Arthur C. and Anna B. (Lowe) Bratchell. She was a graduate of South High and Worcester State College. Elaine was a public school teacher for 35 years. After retirement, she worked at the Worcester Historical Museum and was a member of the Friends of Hope Cemetery. She was a faithful member of the Worcester Ecclesia of Christadelphians.

She will be laid to rest, awaiting Christ's return and the resurrection with a graveside service at Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster Street, Worcester, Tuesday, December 3, at 11am. Donations may be made in Elaine's name to the Worcester Historical Museum, 30 Elm St., Worcester MA 01609 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
