Phyllis A. (Sullivan) Keane 78, of Natick died Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving and devoted family.
She was the beloved wife of the late Attorney Francis M. Keane who died in 1997.
A Natick resident for 47 years she was born in Boston the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Gill) Sullivan.
Mrs. Keane was a member of the Natick Women’s Club and with her husband a member of the Blue Knights Club and was formerly employed at the Wellesley Gift Store.
Being with family, especially her grandchildren, brought the greatest happiness to her life. Summers by the swimming pool, “Club Keane" on Cottage Street were well known and enjoyed by neighbors and friends for many years.
She is survived by one son Michael Keane and his wife Andrea of Grapevine, TX, one daughter Kelly E. Crane and her husband Timothy of Natick, nine grandchildren Halle, Sydney and Ryan Crane, Michael and Kelcey Keane, Michael , Shannon, Kelly, Madison and Morgan Burns, and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Stacey A. Burns who died in 2009 and sister of the late Nancy Smith.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Saturday, November 30, at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Patrick’s Church at 10:00 A.M.
Visiting hours are Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
Interment St Patrick Cemetery.
