Seabrook, NH – Janet E. Brantmuller, 69, of Seabrook, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA. She was the beloved wife of Andras Brantmuller, to whom she was married for 50 years.
Born in Methuen on July 8, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Yvonne (Desjardins) Laflamme. Janet worked as a waitress at Bishops Restaurant in Lawrence for many years. She then worked at Universal Studios in Orlando, FL for 10 years and then as a caregiver at Danvers State Hospital for 10 years until her retirement. In her free time, she loved spending time with her family and especially with her grandchildren.
Janet will be deeply missed by her husband, Andras; daughter, Erika Austin of Lawrence; sons, Andrew Brantmuller and his wife, Judy of Lowell and Michael Brantmuller and his wife, Dawn of Salem, NH; 8 grandchildren; her great granddaughter; sister, Linda Callagy of Hampton, NH; brothers, Leo Laflamme and his wife, Sharon of Salem, NH and Dennis Laflamme and his wife, Sue of Nine Mile Falls, WA; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a sister, Diane Dalton.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Janet's life by gathering for calling hours at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen on Monday, December 2, 2013 from 5-7 PM. Her funeral service will take place on Monday at 7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
