James H. “Hack” Caswell, 86, passed away at his residence on November 25, 2013.
He grew-up in Hardin County most of his life. He was retired from International Harvester and a member of Ninth & O Baptist Church. He was a man with a servant’s heart always eager to help his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Josephine Caswell, six brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Jewell Thomas Caswell; daughter, Sherry Rice (Don); grandchildren, Tim Rice (Valerie) and Amy Harmon (Kin); great-grandchildren, Taylor, Harrison, Grant, Grayson, Garrett, Greta and Landry and his sister, Alma Miller.
Funeral service will be held 2 pm, Wednesday at Ninth and O Baptist Church, 4401 Breckenridge Lane. Visitation 5-8 pm, Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home - Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd and 10 am – 2 pm, Wednesday at his church. Burial, Resthaven Cemetery.
