WEBSTER – Malvina A. (Bryant) Beauchesne, 93, of 6 Joyce Street, died Wednesday, September 29, in Webster Manor after an illness. Her husband of 54 years, Walter O. Beauchesne, died in 1996.
She leaves a son, Richard A. Beauchesne and his wife Beverly A. of Ellenwood, Georgia; a daughter, Jeanne A. Samples and her husband Ronald F. of Dudley; 2 brothers, Maurice St. Hilaire of Putnam, CT, and Roland St.Hilaire of Webster; 2 grandchildren, Justin and Kristin Samples; a longtime friend, Frances Cusson of Webster; nieces and nephews.
She was born and raised in Lawrence, the daughter of Wilfred and Matilda Bryant, and lived here for 70 years.
Mrs. Beauchesne was the manager of the food counter at F.W.Woolworth Co. and then at the Key Store, retiring in 1973. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. She was an active member of both the Ladies of Saint Anne and the Circle of Charity. She was a longtime member of the Council on Aging at the Webster Senior Center. She enjoyed traveling and dinner theater productions.
The funeral will be held Saturday, October 2, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home,340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street.Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
