WORCESTER- Bronislawa (Hryniewicz) Linga, 89, of 58 Barry Road, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, in the Millbury Health Care Center, Millbury.
She leaves her husband of 62 years, Boleslaw L. "Bill" Linga; a daughter, Lee B. Pietrewicz and her husband Richard of Grafton; a son, Boleslaw L. "Bill" Linga, Jr., his wife Eileen, and their daughter Rebekah of East Douglas; a brother, Albert Hryniewicz and his wife Helen of Port Orange, FL; a sister-in-law, Yvette Hryniewicz of Worcester, wife of Cyprian, who died in 1999. Mrs. Linga was born in Three Rivers, daughter of Jozef and Ludwika (Jacher) Hryniewicz, and lived here most of her life.
Prior to her marriage, she worked at Metropolitan Laundry and Matthews Manufacturing. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America and the Polish National Alliance. She enjoyed sewing and needlework.
Bernice's family is appreciative to the entire staff, past and present, of the Millbury Health Care Center for the attention, concern, and skilled care she received during her 6 ½ years at the Center.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 2, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, in the funeral home.
