Smith, Virginia L., 71, of Walker Road, died Friday, November 22, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the widow of Frederick R. Smith, Jr.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Elizabeth C. (March) Burke. She lived in Foster for the past 38 years. She worked at the Pine Grove Health Center for eight years before retiring.
She is survived by her children, Frederick R. Smith, III, Betty and Virginia Smith, all of Foster and Robert Smith of Oklahoma and five grandchildren.
Her funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held MONDAY MORNING at 10am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in Phillips Memorial Cemetery, Foster. Visitation respectfully omitted.
