Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, November 21, 2013, Thurmond Gary Smith, 60, husband of Joy Smith.
A native of Augusta, GA, Mr. Smith was a member of Warren Baptist Church and attended The Sanctuary. He worked as an electrician with Johnson Control for 18 years.
In addition to his wife, family members include son: T. Garrett Smith of Augusta, GA; daughter: Corinna Lockamy (Ray) of Hephzibah, GA; and mother: Carolyn Smith Anderson of Martinez, GA.
A graveside service will be held Monday, November 25, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Sanctuary Widow Fund, 302 Byrd Road, Evans, GA 30809.
