Joseph H. Perry, of Plymouth, died suddenly on November 21st at Jordan Hospital at the age of 84. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Nora (Bianchini) Perry of Plymouth and his cousin Danny Salguerio of FL. He also leaves several nieces and nephews: Anna Marie Landers of Bridgewater, Deborah Metcalfe of Plymouth, Michelle Webber of Bridgewater, Bryan Stevens of Harwich, Michael Landers of Bridgewater, Ronald Bianchini of Brockton, Rick Giuliotti of Plymouth and David Bianchini and many great, great nieces and nephews.
Joe was born in Plymouth and graduated from Plymouth High School and Burdett College where he received his degree in business management. He owned and operated Perry’s Market his entire life and was a member of the Young America Club, the American Legion Post 40, Plymouth Lions Club for 30 years, he was a town meeting representative precinct 1 and was on the Board of Directors of Plymouth Savings Bank. He served in the U.S Army Reserves and retired as a Sergeant First Class.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at St. Mary’s Church at 11 AM leaving from the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth at 10 AM. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Plymouth. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Hedge School, 258 Standish Ave, Plymouth, MA 02360 or to St. Mary’s Church, 313 Court St. Plymouth, MA 02360.
