Olive L. (Manchester) Arruda, 67, of Westport died peacefully with her family by her side, Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Francis “Shorty” Arruda.
Born in Fall River, she was daughter of the late George and Lillian (Pontbriand) Manchester. She had worked for Heritage Assisted Living in Dartmouth for 14 years. Mrs. Arruda loved her gardens and spending her winters in Florida.
Including her husband, she is survived by 3 sons: Francis Arruda of Canton, MA, Edward Arruda of Westport and Jason Arruda of Warren, RI; 3 sisters: Beverly, Gloria and Cheryl, all of MA; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was grandmother of the late Aron Arruda and sister of the late Sandra Caouette and George Manchester.
At her request, there will be no funeral services or visitation.

The Sunday Mass on December 1, 2013 at 8:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport will be in her memory.
