Obituary

Joseph R. Casey age 88 of Salem, NH, died Tuesday at Salemhaven Nursing Home, Salem, NH.

He was born in Lawrence, MA, where he grew up and attended schools. He was a long time Salem, NH resident.

Joe worked as a lithographer and shipper for Frank C. Meyer Corp. in Lawrence, MA. He was a US Army veteran, serving during World War II. He was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem. Joe enjoyed dancing and playing cards, but most of all Joe loved to bring laughter into people’s lives and had a joke book published “Now That’s Funny”.

He is survived by his daughter: Carol Fascione and her husband Paul Neveu of York, ME

Hilda Desilets of Nashua, NH

Granddaughter: Danielle Fascione-Tusch of Sandy Hook, CT.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Salem. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Andover, MA.

Calling hours will be Sunday, Nov. 24th from 2-5 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
