Kenneth E. Ball, 62, of Auburn, NH, died Tuesday November 19, 2013 in Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. He was born in Lawrence, MA on August 14, 1951, a son of the late Merritt R. and Margaret (Ward) Ball, II. He had been a resident of Auburn for the past five years, formerly living in Epping, NH. He was a graduate of Springfield College. He was the owner and operator of Bresnahan & Ball Counseling Service in Manchester, NH. He enjoyed motorcycles and was a member of the Harley Owners Group. He also enjoyed fishing, as well as painting and decorating during the holiday seasons.
He is survived by his wife Joanne Bresnahan-Ball of Auburn; five sons, Damian Ball of West Nottingham, NH, Ricky Edwards of Milton, VT, Joseph Edwards of Ashburnham, MA, Justin Edwards of Brookline, MA, and Michael Edwards of Portland, ME; two daughters, April Lombardi of North Smithfield, RI, and Tanya Melanson of Nashua, NH; ten grandchildren; as well as his brother, Merritt R. Ball, III of Epping, NH.
Private services were held by the family. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry handled the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226.
