Adrien “Eddy” J. Martin, 88, of Lawrence passed away Friday November 15th at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lawrence son of the late Wilfred and Eleanor (Perron) Martin. Adrien was raised and educated in Lawrence and later enlisted to serve his country in the United States Navy. Prior to retiring he worked as mechanic at Champy's Garage in Lawrence for many years. In his free time Adrien enjoyed bowling, skiing, motorcycling, golfing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Adrien is survived by his loving wife of 66 years A Theresa (Sampson) Martin, a son James E. Martin and his wife Susan of Clearwater Florida, daughters Barbara J. Burns and her husband Robert of Eliot ME and Betty Martin also of Eliot ME, sisters Blanche Pomerleau of Lawrence, Irene Castonguay also of Lawrence, 10 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was pre deceased by a son Thomas W. Martin.
There will be no visitation, family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service that will take place on Wednesday November 20th at 11 AM at the St. Mary Immaculate Conception Mausoleum in Lawrence with entombment to follow.
