Karl John Swenson, age 63 of Fall River, passed away Wed. Nov. 13, 2013 at St. Anne’s Hospital. He was the son of Evelyn P. (Rogers) Swenson and the late Ernest A. Swenson. Prior to retiring, Karl worked for an Auto Parts Co. as a Commercial Truck Driver. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his daughter: Vanessa M. Yentz of Spring Hill, FL; 2 grandchildren: Corrinn E. and Taylor R. Yentz; siblings: Ernest D. Swenson of TX, Wayne A. & Phyllis S. Swenson both of Fall River; many nieces & nephews. He was the brother of the late Michael D., Douglas K., & Earl S. Swenson. Karl is also survived by his dear friend and neighbor, Donnie Girard and his daughter Taylor, whom Karl treated like his own family.
