Catherine (Griffin) Souza, age 84 of Somerset, passed away Nov. 12, 2013. She was the daughter of the late John & Mary (Walsh) Griffin. Prior to retiring in 1991, Catherine worked 10 years for Transcom Electronics Co. She was a parishioner of St. Thomas More Church.
She is survived by her son: Michael Souza of Rumford, RI and her daughter: Kathleen Martin of Somerset; a sister Maureen Przystac of Somerset; 5 grandchildren; 1 late grandson; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was the mother of the late Freddie & David Souza, and Maureen Silvia; and the sister of the late John Griffin.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on SATURDAY at 7:45 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas More Church, Somerset at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
