Charles H. ‘Charlie’ Sarette, 30, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013. He leaves his wife of 9 years, Katie L. Slingo-Sarette, a daughter, Natalia Sarette and step-daughter, Maegan Goloski of Thompson, his parents; Gail and Donald Sarette and Charles Finley, 6 brothers; Jimmy Sarette of N.H., Jason Sarette of Plainfield, Ct., Paul Finley of Danielson,Ct., Josh Finley of Putnam, Noah and Donald Sarette of Plainfield, a sister; Michelle Ballou of Plainfield, Grandmothers; Claire Sarette of Putnam, and Sandra Finley of Plainfield, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Charlie was born in Putnam and worked at Electric Boat in Groton. He enjoyed playing video games, martial arts, and golfing. But most of all he loved spending time with his family.
A Memorial Service for Charlie will be Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 2PM in the ROBERT J. MILLER FUNERAL HOME and LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School St., Webster. There will be a Calling Hour from 1PM to 2PM prior to the service.
