Nunzio Sambataro, 86, of Salem, NH died Thursday, November 7th at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, MA.
Nunzio was born and educated in Lawrence, MA, the son of the late Concetta (Amato) Sambataro and Alfio Sambataro. He served in the US Army during the Korean War.
Nunzio was a retired letter carrier for the City of Lawrence, He enjoyed playing pool, talking, dancing, and spending time with his beloved family. He was predeceased by his son Mark E. Sambataro.
He is survived by his wife Marion (Palese) Sambataro of Salem, NH;
his sons, Paul of Salem and David and his wife Valerie of Salem,
his daughter Connie and her husband Lee Stevens of Salem;
his grandchildren, Ryan, Hannah, Aaron and Cayley, Ashlee, Zachary, Derek, Brandon, Shawn, Kevin, and Crystal and
his great grandchildren Hayden and Anthony.
Private services were held for the family.
